 I offer a great way for you to have something made especially to your design. I also offer items much cheaper than you a likely to get made in a Jewellery Store by an employee. The reason is simple as I work from a workshop and not a Jewellery store so I don't have to pass on any of those nasty overheads which jewellery stores are compelled to do. Also I am self employed so I can give you all the persoal service and attention that your piece of jewellery deserves.  Firstly, email me and tell me what you want. Let me know the metal that you would like it made in and any other information you have. If say, you see a picture on another site then send it to me or direct me to that site. You might like a ring made with a bit of this and a bit of that. Well if you can show me a few pictures with those details then we can discuss what you want. Or, you can send me a sketch. From there we can discuss it until I have enough info to give you a quote. It is a good idea to let me know what your budget is so we are not heading in the wrong direction. It is just a guide so no need to be exact. When pricing for your custom creation there are three factors to consider. Design, Cost of Metal and Cost of Labour.
1. Design - We do not charge for the initial consultation. Once you have decided on your general design, then we can go ahead and make the design with our CAD programe (Computer Aided Design). The cost involved for the design is usually one third deposit of the final cost.
2. Materials -Stones - We can source Diamonds and Gemstones for whatever budget you have. Usually because we don't have overheads we can give you excellent value for the quality of the stones of your choice.
3.Cost of Labour - The more complicated the design the more intensive the craftmanship will need to be. Pieces with lots of delicate work such as Filigree or multiple diamonds create time consuming work. Alternatively simple settings with limited embellishments will not be as labour intensive.
How long does it Take? Depending on the design and the amount of work involved we normally take about 4 -6 weeks. If there is a special time frame required then as these are made by us we can often make them faster for you.

I just spent three days at the Australian Jewellery Fair in Sydney looking for the latest products and trends from around the world. I am interested in making and providing commitment rings. These are very popular with the gay community and... also with divorced people who rarely go through an engagement period second time around so they opt for rings to show their commitment to each other. People ask me to make these rings and they are the same for each partner or slightly different. At the fair I came across a supplier who has been making these for 50 years and his work is very special. These ring which I will be promoting soon are of the highest quality I have ever seen. Thes earrings were made for a customer who had a silver pair
but wanted them re made into rose Gold. I drew the design using my CAD
program after cutting up the original Sterling Silver earrings and then
tracing the filigree into my CAD Program.
Then they were cut out into
wax in eight pieces and then cast. They turned out very well. I am sure my
customer will be very pleased with the result. |

Pinkie Ring
Project.
Joe is a lawyer and wanted a
pinkie ring in 9 carat yellow gold. It is to be his lucky ring and
he couldn’t find anything in jewellery stores in a pinkie ring that he
felt good about. I suggested this simple design which is a very
harmonious style. It is about 6mm wide and size K. I opted to
hand make this ring for that special touch as I know that would be
appreciated by Joe. It sets me in a very personal mood with the
person who is going to wear the ring when I do this. As I work away
I am often thinking about the future owner, picturing where and when they
will be wearing it and how they will be thinking about it. It’s a
lovely feeling to enjoy your work like this.
I gave Joe a price for 9
carat and although he hadn’t asked for it I also gave him a price for 18
carat yellow gold. I am so glad he accepted it as 18 carat really
suits this ring. |

Dragon Pendant
An interesting
project. Josh, a teenager, had the white cow bone carving and
he wanted to make it into a pendant. I firstly coated the cow
bone with a coating which would protect it as much as possible in case he
still wanted it. I then make a two part cold mold as a normal
thermal mold would destroy the cow bone.
After this was successful,l
and they aren’t all perfect I then made a wax from the mold and it was
very difficult to get that out of the mold.
The next
stage was to cast this in an anti tarnish silver. Then some surgery
on the tongue of the dragon as Josh specified and a ring to hold a chain
soldered on the top, a clean up and polish and there it is in all its
glory. A beautiful piece.
This is not something you
are likely to get down from your local jewellery shop as the either would
not have the knowledge or they wouldn’t want to bother doing it as it is
quite an effort. Even if Josh had found someone to do it I guarantee
he would never have got it for this special
price. |
Celtic Wedding Rings.

Jo and Leon were getting married soon
and they are in their forties and had never married before.
What a lovely story that is so far – to finally meet your life
mate.
They wanted two rings in a hurry and they wanted celtic rings and
Jo’s ring had to have an acqua marine stone in it as this was a link with
her father.
They decided on the style and 9 carat white gold with
rhodium plating. Two lovely rings.
I keep promising to make
myself one like these and one day I’ll get to
it. |

Copper & Silver Wedding Ring Set.

Two wedding rings. One copper
for the wife and the other copper and silver for the husband. The
ladies ring has a hammered finish. The males ring was made in three
parts. Two silver parts were made and the copper ring inserted
between then and then the silver parts were soldered together. This
was a difficult manufacture because there could be no decreasing of the
size once made. The purchasers were very happy with the prices and
the results. |

LBP Monogrammed Pendant.
This one
was ordered by a gent in Miami Florida. He spent a good deal of time
and effort to get it just the way he wanted. He was delighted with
it. It beats me why anyone in Florida USA would want me to make
something as simple as this for them and ship it over there - but I am
flattered in any case!

Ancient Script Pendant
This was
another difficult thing to cast with so many bits to it. I made two
waxes in case one failed. They both turned out perfectly. Notice how
many solid metal sprues I used so that the metal would flow to all these
litle parts. This was a pendant that I called "Ancient Script"
but I have no idea what it really was.

believe all the color in the opal. The only thing that could make it
better would be if the stone were solid and not a doublet, but then I'd
