Large solid purple & blue opal
A magnificent solid opal from the Lightning Ridge area of NSW, Australia. This opal shimmers in blue,green and yellow sparkles as it is turned. It is a large opal mesuring 24.5mm by 18mm and is 5.25mm thick. It will make a fantastic pendant. I would like to see it in 18k yellow gold, bezel set. Perhaps a diamond or two in the bale ( part that holds the chain.)
Big and solid these are very hard to find!
